Down To The Kid got team Herrington off the mark with a tenacious performance at Southwell. Dropped back to 7 furlongs the horse settled in fifth place off a blistering pace. The Kid then made his challenge at the furlong marker and got up close home under a fantastic Neil Callan ride. Well done to all concerned.
